Blockbuster US Chooses Blu Ray
Blockbuster in the US have been testing both HD optical formats, Blu Ray and HD DVD for a good few months now, and have decided to go with Blu Ray for their stores. This is based on rental stats that say 70% of HD rentals were Blu Ray.
HD DVD will continue to be available on Blockbuster's web site, and also in the original 250 trial stores, but the rest of Blockbuster's stores will get Blu Ray only.
Another useful helper for Blu Ray in the HD format battle.
